My goal as an Artist is to create art that heals and delights humanity. To this end I have facilitated the creation of a number of public and private Art projects, in my community of San Juan Island.

I directed the creation of tile murals at Friday Elementary School, the Port of Friday Harbor, and the San Juan County Fairgrounds, all involving children of all ages.

I am well versed in a variety of mediums. Painting in oils, watercolor or acrylic, I also love pastels, and pencils and ink. Used most often in drawing portraits. Most recently I have discovered glazing tiles,and shared this new love in the creation of the murals. Pebble mosaic fits nicely with my rock collecting craze, as I teach others to arrange them in cement and grout (pebble mosaic classes will resume soon). I thrive on challenge and have a record of keeping work on schedule and on budget.

I have pursued my passion for Art, drawing and painting from an early age. I love working with all kinds of people. I've made hundreds of portraits. I look forward to working with: home owners, contractors, architects, landscapers, writers, poets, so that I may illustrate and articulate their words and dreams.
